Art Deco Jewel

I found this amazing printed fabric while on holiday in Paris and just had to buy it in several colours! I love the geometric gold triangles and the peacock blue plumes.

Here I used it to create a teardrop-shaped headpiece, which sits just above the right eye. The gold triangles are echoed in the shimmering gold flower and textured cream flower star. 

The headpiece is 15cm long, by 10cm wide. The flower star is approx 10cm across.

The headpiece is attached with a black elastic headband that can be hidden within your hair. The elastic length can be adjusted to fit any sized head, just tie a knot to lengthen or shorten it to a comfortable length.
