Morning Lotus Necklace (Neon Glow)

I found this bright, fun washi in an amazing shop in Kyoto. I love the modern and young pattern on something so traditional as washi. I have used it in a few pieces so far, both on its own, as well as with another textured bright pink.

Being such a neon flare, and its size, this really is a statement piece. It can be worn with many colours, but I prefer it with black. A simple black dress or work outfit, and then bamm! An explosion of colour. it is a really easy way to transform from staid work dreariness to a trendy girl about town.

The points of the star are quite sharp and crisp, so be careful about hugging people, unless they annoy you, then instant ninja stars! Could also work in the ring form to turn you into Wolverine. 

The 12 point star is 3.5cm across, and hangs on a chain 40cm long. I can also make it in other sizes/lengths if you have something else in mind.

Each piece comes in its own matching box to give as a special gift to a really cool person, or for easy storage. Marie Kondo would be proud.
